My Little Million was a compact thouroughbred type with superb paces and an excellent temperament. He was a real gentleman with a big scopy jump, being short coupled with powerful shoulders, plenty of heart room and strong loins. Nippy and agile being very bold with an incredible turn of speed, he could gallop across country with the best of them. He hunted with the Pendle Forest and was well mannered and safe having a fantastic attitude with a really unflappable temperament. He was a superb sire for all types of mares to breed eventers, show jumpers, small hunters, and polo ponies. He was an exceptional cross to shire mares, producing real quality types with small heads and good bone. My Little Million accumulated BSJA winnings in excess of £400, showed classic technique over a very big fence and jumped lm 30 opens with Downes Howard. In autumn 1998 we decided to show his versatility and began affiliated Horse Trials, he jumped double clear every time out including Bishop Burton ( nov ) Knaptoft ( nov ), Grimston Park ( nov ), Castle Town ( on ), Witton Park ( PN ), Hough Hall and Henbury (nov ) proving to be bold and brave cross country. He won or was placed every time out, with a dressage highest percentage of 68%. My Little Million will live on through his progeny always producing quality stock, from all types of mares and was exceptionally quiet with mares. His Progeny includes Alderley Starlight; winner Cheshire County small hunter foal, winner at Royal Lancashire hunter foal and qualified NCPA Pony of the Year,2007 medium level dressage, intermediate show hunter placed at County level. Greenhow Million Dollar Girl; 1st north of England HIS Show, Riding Club Yearling Champion and placed Festival of Champions at Birchingly Manor. Greenhow Sam the Man; 1st Goosnargh and Longridge hunter yearling and consistently placed throughout 1999, and show jumpers Jack Flash Million and Flight View Million. Pipers Wait stood three seasons the hunter improvement society, was the sire of advanced eventer Merrillion, ridden by Andrew Nicholson, and was by the flat bred speed merchant Port Corsaire, who won seven races and was placed seven times, second Old Newton Cup Haydock. Progeny won sixteen races and was placed thirty six times over fences. Flying T is a grade A show jumper, her dam Lady Balma, was a grade A believed to be sister to Penwood Forge Mill one of show jumpings most famous of all time, who in 1973 won the European championships at Hickstead, the King George V Gold Cup and the Horse and Hounds within six days.
