Refurbishment Project
The project includes refurbishment of the existing building, creation of a new car park, improving pedestrian access and building of an annex.
So far we have achieved:-
- Building a new car park
- Refurbishment of the Main Hall
- Creation of a new disabled toilet and creation of a children's toilet
- Installation of a central heating system
- Improvement of the pedestrian access
- Redecoration of the entrance hall and meeting room including new flooring
- Refurbishment of the existing kitchen
- Refurbishment of the Gents Toilets
- Rebuilding the wall around the old car park to create a secure outdoor play area.
Currently we are working to achieve:-
- Construction of an Annex which will include a second larger kitchen, reception area, new meeting/IT/heritage room and toilets.
The project so far has cost over £150,000 including the purchase of the land for the new car park, local residents have raised over £18,000 towards this cost.

The building of the car park has also allowed a seperate project to create a new playground/community park to take place on land above the new car park.
